5th Annual 2008 Southwest Special One Loft Race
A 150 mile race scheduled to be flown on October 18th, a 230 race to be flown Oct 25th and a 330 mile race flown November 8, 2008 from the Malad, Idaho. Perch fees are $100.00 a bird or $200.00 a bird that is returned to the owner after the race and not auctioned off. The entry fee is $200.00 per bird that is payable before the 1st race of October 18th. Accepting entries in March until June 15th. Replacements accepted until July 15th. The top birds with the $100.00 perch will be auctioned on the internet with 50% of the proceeds going to the breeder and 50% to the Southwest Special. Owners of the remaining birds can buy them back for a $50.00 shipping fee or have their birds offered to the Help-A-Beginner program.
